    dry steering rack

ok so when me and my friends did my swap (around May) they talked me into taking my power steering out... the whole time i was thinking running a dry p/s rack would cause trouble...so im an idiot and let them take it out and i find out they dont know what there doing. so finally my lazy ass decides to try to fix it. my so-called friend cuts everything out...so all i found was a metal line and a hose where the fluid was leaking out. My question is.....is there any way to get fluid back into the rack? because i searched and everybody says to just loop the in/out lines and your set...but i have no fluid ...

cap it off....so just pour it into the hose and close the metal line and the hose?? ....it doesnt need to have a loop or recirculate?(sp) what did you use to cap it off? thanks

call me cheap or whatever but i just used a big plastic thingy mabober, like those that hold on the trunk carpet to the rear of the seat?

hahaha it works and its still in there. as long as there is fluid in there and it keeps it from locking up what is the problem?

I ran all the hoses to the power steering reservoir, that way you can add fluid the same way. My system is looped so it recirculates.
