    I have batt/alt problem...

    Ok heres the deal:

I put in a JDM F22B DOHC Non-VTEC engine in my 93 Accord a few months ago. Well almost 2 weeks after that, the "battery" symbol on my dash lit up and a week after my car's battery basically "blew up" (ie, it started spewing battery acid). I got myself another battery (thinking this was the issue, hey battery light is on, must be the battery) installed it, but the battery light remained on and after a week that battery spewed a bit of acid and the batt just died.

Having researched the problem, I went ahead and bought an alternator. I didnt get around to install it till today (took it to a shop to get it put in). Right after I get the alt installed, I go over to AUtoZone and get another battery (the second one that blew was under warranty). I go to start the car about an hour ago and the freakin car wont start. I take out the jumper cables and jump it...

So whats the deal??? The battery light isnt turning on anymore...so what else could be going on?

Check all the fuses and wires going to and from the batt.

Ok, so I disconnected the negative terminal from my batt to see if the car would shut down...well 1/2 hour later its still running, lol..so im pretty sure the alt is fine.

Ok so, what fuses should I be checking? And what wires? How do i test this stuff to see what the problem is?

The batt wires... the ones going from the batt to the fuse box. but what I basicly ment from "check the wires" was look at the wires that were connected to the batt. You know most of all that they have been through two batts blowing up. I'd imagine that the wires are a little messed up from that.
Maybe the connectors have a excive amound of crap on them preventing them from making good contact with the batt terminals.

As for fuses, look at the fuse box under the hood in the upper left hand side of the engine bay. Check the big number fuses (over 40 amps) for any issues.

            Very wierd
If you're getting a drain on the batt it may be a alarm or light that's draining the batt down.

Anyone else have any good ideas
