    light weight flywheel

i have heard that a light weight fly wheel will release 15-40 hp that is already in the motor due to heavy flywheel stops is this true and if not, tell me if this is a good mod and what it will do for my accord

15-40HP? keep dreaming.... maybe 5-10 if your lucky, i got a 8lb fidanza, top end is nice and revs little faster, good bang for the buck

not neccessarily horsepower increases but there will be a dramatic increse in throttle response.... so it acts as horsepower since there is instant power.... -justin-

A lightweight flywheel tends to actually rob you of some torque and give you faster revs.

you can counter the slight loss of tq by launching a bit higher. Lightened flywheels are a beautiful thing and take weight off the crankshaft.

A higher stage clutch does not make you any faster that a lower stage. The stage is designed for power ratings. If you have high power get a high stage clutch that is rated over that power. If you are stock go with a stage one.

yeah the shop i go to here in Tampa...says that a light fly wheel will make you accelerate faster and recommended a stage 2 clutch if i am going h22

I plan on going with an H22 tranny light fly wheel and stage 1 or 2 clutch with my f22...so when i do pop that h22 engine it will be ready

Boost is great and everything, but I know there are some H22's that will take those boosted F22's down!
I would like to race one though.
I just think that turbo lag would hurt the F22 in that race!
maybe im wrong but i would take my H22 over a boosted F22 any day!

almost forgot. Fidanza Flywheel is frickin awesome! (8lbs)
