Would a smaller filter change the noise of the intake and affect performance... im not talking tiny filter but smaller than one used in the DIY.. whats the best filter in ur opinions.. i hear K&N lets shit into your intake i cant remember but i seen green filters somewhere that looked really good... anyone know the name?

actually green hks sucks cuz it lets dirt go in, and k&N isn't bad they are pretty good. basically u'll have to find a median and a compromise. i just used ebay. and according to that infamous 1 test, apexi is good, but i can't justify the cost of using it.

i used ebay as well but if you think about it...how much dirt is going to go into the filter while the filter is within the engine bay as opposed to a cold air where it is near the tire/fender/floor
