    compression check evaluation!

Okay my results 6 months ago was:

    1. 195
    2. 195
    3. 195
    4. 195

    Now its:

    1. 175
    2. 175
    3. 175
    4. 175

Any output on whats going on?? although i DID run a 55 shot of nitrous through it for 1 bottle... ZEX system..

Could it possibly be a blown headgasket? or leaking headgasket? but then i was thinking if it was the headgasket what would be the odds that each cylinder is leaking the same.... i'm stumped.

    what engine
was the engine hot or cold
did you remember to prop the tb open both times

frankly it seems like you may have just cleaned the engine out

F22a1 with 178,000 miles on it.... i'm sure before the nitrous some of the carbon was actually helping the compression stay higher and running nitrous through it probably cleaned it out... think so?? engine was hot both times

all 3 of my accords have compression between 175-180 on all cylinders.... so i see yours as being normal....

seems ok to me, perfect compression is like 178, not even sure how u got 195 without carbon build up. Your fine, just make sure to retard the timing while juicing.

175 is great. remember f22a cr is 8.8:1. comp tests will read lower numbers than say an h22 would read....at least i think...

alright sounds good..... yeah i knew it should be around 178psi like the book says i think... i dunno its 2 am. haha.... and i'm guessing that the nitrous cleared up the carbon build up that was actually building more compression that it should be normal.... glad to see its pretty much perfect!!!!!!!

EDIT: yeah i retarded the ignition like 2-3 degrees.... and actually since i sold it 4 months ago.. its still at retarded 2-3 degrees.. haha, i should fix that huh?!

I just did mine tonight, 180/182/190/190

I thought they would all be the same, should I be worried?

Lots of carbon on the plugs too!

No, because they need to read within a certain percentage of eachother...I think like within 10% if I'm not mistaken. Your readings are fine.
