Is LX Intake Manifold same as Ex?

Yes it is, the 91 EX has the F22a4 and the LX mani is off the F22a1, both share the same non-IAB (intake air bypass-featured on F22a6 and many other IM's) intake manifold.

Clarification? Or, are we not talking about the *exhaust* manifold ?

They are talking bout the INTAKE manifold not the exhaust. And yea all the intake manifolds are the same except the A6.
