    Trunk Allignment

Anyone knows how to fix this issue between the allignment with the trunk tails to even with the back body tails, it always leaves a gap. I have tried taking it out and re-installing them on, taking the legde where the truck lid closes still nothin, i got my buddy to get in the trunk to see whats the deal with it but no luck. Anyone encountered this problem before???

You can try to adjust the rubber stops on the top of the trunk.

Yes, the rubber stops will help, they're on the underside of the trunk lid. Also, if you have to really slam the trunk lid down in order to get it to close, then adjust the latch; It should require very little effort to close it and it may help w/ the alignment thing. I don't think you'll have to do anything w/ the hinges, unless everything's out of whack, but good luck

Mine does this too and I think it's because I tried to shut the trunk with something in the way of the hinge. Anyone know how to fix those hinges? Should a bodyshop do it?

there is also a little bit of play if you loosen where the lid bolts to the hinge..
