Hello all, i recently removed most of my interior (mainly everything from the front seats and back) and came upon this in the trunk.

Can any of you help me out and let me know if it is ok to be removed, or do i have to leave it in?

that could be something to do with the abs brake system im 70 percent sure

so if its the abs and i unplug everything then my brakes will feel different right?

actually if that has any brake lines going to it dont or you'll be using your engine to slow down.

ill try and take a closer look at it tomarow. after i get done bypassing my ac with a shorter belt. then i gotta take out my ac and lines..about that any tips on removing like how to do it, and do i have to plug any lines?

if it has anything to do with abs then there will be something orange on or connected to it. but other than that ur guess is as good as mine. trace the wires and see where they go.

something orange i will keep that in mind. also i will bring up more pics tomarow unless i find out what it is by then.

ok i was reading another thread and acclude91 said that the ecu in the trunk is the abs system yess i was right

yes that's your abs controller and relays as it's been pointed out already. If you unplug it, you just wont have ABS. other than that you won't notice anything.

it looks like theres a gas line over there? i didnt know it ran across the car like that cause the gas fill is on the drivers side

yea if your talking about the tube with the orange ring around it i dont know what that is either. and i looked at that and there was nothing going through that

I think that tube may be the drain for the sunroof but I'm not positive!
