I recently swapped my transmission after a friend ran over a manhole cover (3 inches slammed + raised manhole cover = BAD !) the car now shifts very rough. Could it be the tranny computer(its an auto...i was on a budget). I might also add i have a bad drivers side axle and a bad passenger tie rod. could these possibly be affecting the shifting ?

Was the tranny brand new or was it a rebuild? Is there enough ATF? -
it was a used tranny. we didnt drain the tranny fluid(kinda in a hurry)
