What seems to be the problem?

My car has 171,444 miles on it. The engine shakes real bad when i'm sitting at a red light and when I start the car. Smoke also came from my exhaust when I was backing out of my driveway today. Only a little, not a lot. What seems to be the problem?

What color was the smoke?

a light blue color

How much oil did you put in? And did you put in any additives? Also just as important what oil did you use? Brand, type, and weight.

Was it overfilled? You should also check the pcv valve and make sure it isnt bad.

i would say too much oil. overfilling is really easy to do if the shop doesn't know what they're doing (like most oil lube places)

my friend's mom "topped off" his oil in his 94 LX. She filled it all the way up to the oil fill cap. he actually was able to drive the car to valvoline to get it changed if that makes any sense.

also seems wierd but check spark plugs and wires and cap and rotor might be skippinmisfiring if its shaking take cap off look in the inside if there is any white shit then u are missfiring and check plugs for wight lines and check plugs for gapping and most not least FUEL FILTER
