coil resistances for 91 Accord lx

Does any one have the coil resitance values for a 91 Accord LX?
I just purchased the vehicle for 300.00. Was running a week ago and just died.. Has fuel.. No spark. I got a new cap becase the old was cracked and showing massive amounts of carbon tracking... Still no spark...

    For External Coil:
    Primary winding = 0.6-0.8 ohms.
    Secondary winding = 14-22 kohms.

Thanx for the speedy reply.....Sorry I didn't specify... It has an internal coil. Are the values the same?

No I'm sorry, The service manual I have here only specifies the external coil. I beleive the values are the same if not stricter for the internal but I can't be certian till I go to the shop tomorrow.

Yeah, either your coil or your igniter is dead because of your tune parts. Make sure to do a new rotor and plugs when you figure out which one it is. When you do, let me know and I can get you either factory part for a much better price than list. I would also recommend AGAINST using an aftermarket igniter. The one you should use is going to be brown, and will probably say NEC on it. Steer clear of anything with a black plastic cover.

          The internal coil resistances are:
          Primary - 0.6 - 0.8 Ohms
          Secondary - 12,800 - 19,200 Ohms.
