need DIY power window motor replacement

please help guys it is getting cold and my window is stuck down due to motor failure. I need a good detailed DIY including tools needed. thanks

It's not hard if you have good hour or so. I just replaced two yesterday and today myself: The driver's door glass and motor and the rear passenger glass.

Just look closely for screws holding in different parts. There's only like three or so screws on these doors and the rest is just popping the panels off and on. There will be the rod that the inner door handle (to open the door from the inside) pulls going through the inner door panel. You can either squeeze that handle assembly out of the panel or let the panel hang on it. There will also be two or three wiring connectors (depending on the door, as the driver's door has more wires for the power locks, all four windows, power mirrors, etc.) to disconnect. Then once the panel's out of you way you can screw the motor unit in place and screw the glass in. Hope I helped.

its as easy as takeing it out, take off the dor panned un bolt the screws take out the regulator and bolt back up. just becareful parts of the regulator are sharp as fuck. i sliced my hands a few times

thank you guys I believe that it is the motor. I know this may sound dumb but I need a step by step. maybe with some pics? I am really nervous about messing up any thing.

buy a manual for 12$ not hard remove door panel un hook wire harnesses i think there are 5 10mm bolts that hold the regulator motor assembely in window is already down which it needs to be to get the glass out there are two 10 mm bolt that hold the glass to the regulator remove glass before the reg

shit my passenger door window wont go !!!I push the button up and down but you can't even hear the motor tryin to pull the window up.Do you think its the motor?
