    Emission...nitrogen Oxides

ok, have to take my other cb7 thru emissons in march, last Sept. or Oct. it didnt pass due to to much Nitrogen Oxide being present.
anyone every run into this problem?
what are some of the things i should look at replacing?
it has to do with the exhaust part of the emissions, not the fuel, i did research and found that out.

so far im gona look at and replace if needed:
    o2sensor
thermal stat (just because its about that time to do so)
    Cat. conver.
    air filter

    any others please add.
also do u think advancing the timing could have cause me to not pass emissions, i did that like 3 weeks before it had to go thru.
and what about valves, the guy there told me sone stuff to look at and one of them was valves. the valves do have to be adjust so maybe that caused it.

if its NOx your talking about you should be looking at your egr valve.

egr fills with carbon and over time.

mine is going up as well...
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

some take out the egr valve and clean the carbon but some actually clean out the ports..and some replace it.

i think cleaning out the ports is a pain in the ass.....
