The e-brake light stays on when e-brake is down while driving. Is this a fuse problem or what could it be?

Could be the E-Brake switch like accordaffair stated.
But it could also mean that you have a problem in the Braking system.
I would start first by checking out the fluid level, then go from there.
Did this light come on after a brake service?
If so, something wrong was done.
Let me know what you find.
