help my automatic transmission is not shifting and i can only shift to 1st and second manually. i changed the two sets of solenoids that sit on the transmission twice already. could it possibly be the TCU ?

Mine has just started doing the same thing. I think my solenoids are good, because once I disconnect the battery and connect it again. The car runs fine for a while. Im going to look for a spare TCU to swap this weekend. I'll let you know what happens. Has you tach been acting funny as well? Every once in a while the tach will jump just slightly before a shift. -
I had the same problem. I changed the speed sensor cause my speedometer wasn't working. Then I changed both solenoids. It ended up being the TCM...under the passenger side floor. Check for codes also. Hope this helps.
