Someone can demystify chipped ecu stuff...

First i want to say i'm not a noob in chipped ecu...

    I have chipped several p28, p06, pr4, p75...

But when it come to accord/prelude ecu, you found less support.

I have read on the net that some pt6 ecu can be chipped... I heard of chipped pt3 and POA... ok but which program can be run on these? What do you need to do to make the ecu chippeable?

Each time i think i found something about those thing... it just lack of info

these are some of the link where i found some minimal info...

EDIT: The people who know how to chip those are not releasing that info to the public.

Ericks Racing and JET Performance know how, but they do not support boost tables. With those ECUs you will need to run a missing link. You would be better off with Civic ECUs. Thats most of the reason why Civic ECUs are overpriced.

The reason why i had an interest in chipping the pt6 ecu was because it already have the control for the 2 stage manifold... and i don't know if adding iab in a p06 will work with the accord intake manifold. I know it work with the b18c1...

I believe that some of the programs allow that...or you may need a P72. Those things cost too damn much, IMO. I just ran mine off a vacuum.

yes but you can't set the vacuum source to make the second stage opening up at XXXXrpm... like on a chipped ecu. I already add iab on a p28, but i sold it... i'd like to test it sometime.

... if someone had the knowledge/time to make a script in crome to read ptX p1X ecu... or simply a user friendly rom editor i would buy the thing in a heartbeat. Because i know i can open accord rom with a hex editor but its like chineese.

I know...Damn you and your smart questions... . I like mine open because I can cram more air there. It supposedly makes you loose torque. However, I have not felt a real difference.

i don't know if i could plug a solenoid on the iab and then connect a shift light on the solenoid and set the shift light at... let's say 4000rpm (stock i think) to make the second stage manifold opening up.

I was thinking it would have to be something along the lines of a stepping motor found with most aftermarket electronic boost controllers.
