    Oil Leak Problems.....Again

I pull out of my garage one morning to go to school and one evening to go to Publix, my car was smoking. The dumb mechanic that fixed it before didn't do what he was supposed to. I checked the dipstick and the oil was below the first level. I put 2 quarts of oil in it, it's ok. But I looked on the garage floor and there is about 7 to 10 drops of oil. What could be causing this?

    Peace, Accord Owners.

Look where the oil's coming from. I've heard of people complaining about oil coming from all over the place on F series engines, so I'd guess it'd take a clue what to be thinking of first of all. My plugs seem to give me trouble, both on the oil pan and on the tranny, even when I got a new oversized one. The answer was teflon tape. Someone I met at an autozone said that's what he did and he's never had a problem or seen bits of the tape anywhere in the oil, I asked grandpa and he said it would probably do it without coming apart, and I havn't seen any bits of it in my oil which would be the only concern (I'd think) so if it's your drain plug, try that. If not, probably a seal or gasket, so depends which one.
