Need some help from the Vets...Nox problem

Been trying to get this damn car (for those who dont know its a cb7, not the talon in my sig) to pass emission but it keeps failing due to Nox. needs to be no more then 2.2 but the reading for the car is 2.7 (was higher until i knocked it down some)

I've change the cat, full nex exhaust, even used the You will pass Emissions BS....lol.

is there anything i can look at to knock it down these .5 points?

im not sure but cant valves effect the Nox? the valve do need to be adjusted.

    thanks in advance

and yes, sometimes the vets do need help once in a while...lol

    peace...........

Seafoam the car, change the PCV valve, air and fuel filter, retard the timing and check the O2 sensor to see if it's working like it should. High NoX can be caused by high exhaust temps, so also check the EGR system.

No do not just start trowing parts at it. High NOx is usually caused by clogged EGR ports, clean these out and it should pass no problem.

I wouldn't really consider a new PCV valve, air and fule filter 'throwing parts' at it. I mean, they're just basic tune-up stuff.

            thanks folks....

i think this might be it...

ive already change everything else that was mentioned...

            the o2sensors new also.

its been failing like crazy...lol i had a wavier for 2years and finally pass it like back in July (got the cough: hook up :cough but then i got another damn notice last month (because the wavier was good for 2 years and i basically passed it at the end of that 2 years and the emission renewal, 2 year point, came back around )

put im a try cleaning the ports, have to find the write up on it

The last 3 times I failed NOX was because I forget to adjust my timing back to stock. Everytime it's because my timing was advanced. If it's already at stock just retard it a bit (if you retard it too far you will fail in other categories).

Cleaning EGR ports and having a good O2 sensors is definitely a good thing whether you're trying to pass emissions or not.
