97 accord engine problem......
i just bought this accord and when i drive in the early morning when the car is really cold i can go past 5k rpm when the engine warms up a bit the revs. wont go past 5k its starts to bounce like if it was a rev limiter and like its misfiring....i really need help i dont get why its doing this.....also wat rev does vtec kick in on a 97 accord ex?

Vtec does not kick in when the engine is cold because it relys on oil pressure. Also, check your ignition system such as distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires. etc......
