Well my homegirls car is having problems. She says that the cb7 keeps wanting to pull off while its in gear on its own without her pushing on the pedal. Ive tried it and witnessed this happening. Ihave adjsuted the throttlecable to loosen it up a bit to make sure its not too tight no luck. I cleaned off the gunk from the inside of the throttlebody to take a good look. No luck what can it be i had the same problem with one of the mustangs ive had. Im thinking its the transmission going bad any opinions?

i had a similar problem, comes out that my IDLE screw backed itself out and was just chillen, and it was idling really bad and i got up to i think 25-30ish mph without pressing the gas, until i pulled over hahaha

and yes it creeps cause its a automatic but when i tap on da gas it take off kinda fast than wen I put press da brakes the engine is still going so i take it out of gear. Also when im slowing down when approahing the red light or stop sign it slows down but jumps speed when I still got my foot on da brake. Its like I kit from night rider it just has a mind of its own and just wants to drive itself

Sparkle...I should kick your ass for not checking the idle screw...
With age...(for lack of a better term)...shit happens.
Maybe thats all it needs. I would not think its anything tranny related if the car drives fine. Most likely the idle is turned up from the screw. If its revving up and down...thats something totally different.
