    Problem

    Here is a good one. every time I have the head lights on and I put it into reverse the tach and my radio will shut off.

    If any body has any idea what could be the problem please help me.

    Just the tach shuts off, or the entire instrument cluster goes dead?

    If you take it out of reverse, does the radio and instrument cluster come back on?

    Does this only happen when the headlights are on?

    Are you making this stuff up? (j/k on this one)

      go to ur nearest auto parts store and get a alternator test and battery test....my friend had the same problem and after we got it check everything was good but the belt was slipping so check the easyest first....

        the bolt that charges the battery was burned off. So I got a altr from a v-tec motor I have and replaced it. (need to do something until I get money to buy a new honda alt)
