I keep getting this loud thumping sound coming from the front, it doesnt always do it, just sometimes, especially on the highway. I checked under the car and couldn't find anything loose, is this a sign that the axle is going bad?

It's not only when I turn the wheel, it does it when im driving straight also, alot of times it does it in third gear at mid throttle, its like a loud thump, I can feel it when I have my foot on the gas.You have been defeated by a car with child locks, how embarassing...

Try stabilizer bar bushings and/or halfshafts... thats what my problem was...Comment
