Okay, I asked questions about this already, but still didn't get things cleared up. My check engine light is on, it reads a 41, which is:
"Primary Heated O2 sensor heater circuit
Open or short in Primary O2 sensor heater circuit, defective Primary O2 sensor heater circuit"
So I checked the exhaust pipe (where the O2 sensor is supposed to be located on my 91 EX-R). There doesn't seem to be any sensor there. There are wires hanging down there that aren't connected to anything, I assume they are for the sensor. My questions:
1. Is this my primary O2 sensor that is missing?
2. Can my car work without an O2 sensor?
3. It says Primary O2 Sensor Heater Circuit - what is the heater circuit?
4. Do I just get an O2 sensor, install it in my exhaust pipe, and connect the hanging wires to it to make it work?
Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanks.
