resonator question

im needing a resonator for my new exhaust. im wondering how much one would run off the internet, where to get it and how long it should be?

Try a local muffler shop; you'll get it faster, they can determine the appropriate length, and you'll pay just about the same, plus they can install it there while U wait.

pfff get rid of resonator, only restricts flow lol, yes it will be louder but u can get a reall good muffler to combat that effect.

yea i know, the local muffler shop quoted me around 200 bux for the resonator and piping if i brought my own muffler in. but i know the guy working there and he said to try and pick up a resonator sumwhere else cuz it would be cheaper. it would only be 125 if i brought a resonator with me

Wow thats a lot. I had a Flowmaster, stainless tip, lousy crush-bend pipes, and a 3' resonator put on my 90 Accord back in 1999 for only $120 at a local shop with all new parts.

does stock cb7 have resonator on em? does resonator matter in brand name?

resonators do not restrict air flow... if your talkin about the resonators that go in your piping not in your canister muffler.

which should i buy to quiet down muffler note, a hi-flo Cat or a resonator???
