    Key In Ignition..turn...nothin.

    Please guys, I desperately need my car back. anything will help.
    This weekend I got into a car accident, I rear-ended a SAAB on the highway at like 20mph, she had no damage, but I had a bent hood, hole in the bumper, and my radiator support was a little bent in, so I can't latch down my hood. My radiatior is fine, everything else seems good (no leaking). My car was starting and driving fine until Monday nite, I went to drive my GF home, I inserted the key, and turned, nothing came on, headlights won't work the horn is dead...the car is just totally dead...but 30min later, I come outside and decided to give it another shot...the friggin car turns right on like the champ that it is...I drop her home, and come back, I try to start the car again, and the same thing happens, no JUICE at all...I know its not the battery, because the car started up fine the 2nd time around...could there be a short somewhere? Could it be my KEY or the keyhole? What the hell is the problem? PLEASE, if anyone else has had this problem...please help...

    You have not nearly begun to scratch the surface of helping yourself with the problem. Maybe it's as simple as loose battery connections from the accident? Come on dude... much less than half the time are there clean cut solutions to problem descriptions... stop being lazy and check shit out.

    Have some common sense too... you asked if it could have anything to do with the key or key lock cylinder, but previously admitted that the headlights and horn don't work when the problem occurs. You sir have just wholeheartedly earned a cha-ching.

      I'm always happy to engage an ignorant cornball like yourself...if I wanted an a-hole to post such an ignorant response such as what you just wasted your time posting, I would've titled the thread "IGNORANT STUPID COMMENTS, POST HERE!!"...

      lemme not waste my time with you, you obviously don't want to help, I've tried everything with the car, checked everything that is necessary for the car to start, nothing seems abnormal...what I am asking in this thread, is to see if anyone ever had such a problem...I've done a search on the whole website and I am yet to find someone with a similar problem such as mine...

      now can someone actually attempt to answer my post instead of spewing their stupid ignorant comments ??

        How did I know you were going to post back up, calling me an asshole, instead of working on your problem? No-start problems are everywhere, and many of them are different. I know for a fact that you have NOT come even close to troubleshooting enough before asking questions. It's blatantly obvious.

        I am NOT an ASE certified mechanic, I don't own a shop, I just happen to know what relatively educated humans like to call LOGIC. Through that, research, and experimentation, I've learned assloads. The ONLY time in my entire life I ever posted up on ANY forum about a problem I had was because of a problem I later found was being caused by an incorrectly wired OBD2a-OBD1 conversion harness... and I assumed it was wired properly. I only paid $80 for it... kind of expect for something like that to be right the first time, wouldn't you? Even still... yeah you're a noob... that's still NO excuse for checking out the basics first. Connections, fuses, and so forth. The car has already given you a HUGE FUCKING CLUE as to what the problem is. Either you don't care and are too lazy, or you're too stupid to pick up on it (or both). If it were any more obvious you would have been smacked in the back of the head with a fucking brick with a note taped to it.

        There are plenty of people that will agree with me when I say that there are way too many lazy fucks out there just looking for spoonfeedings. You're calling me ignorant and stupid, yet, you can't check out your own problem AND you considered the key/ignition cyl. as a possible problem?

        Wow...

        This is entertaining.

        Pop the fucking hood and start checking shit out.

            I'll say it again...I have checked everything under the hood...now instead of helping me out, you guys just want to make it seem like you are some type of HONDA gurus...I bet you two have no idea what could possibly be my problem. I could be just like you guys and go into threads and say "you didn't even scratch the surface of your problem, your stupid"....and everyone would think I'm some type of ASE cert. mechanic...but I'm having an honest to God problem here...I have a full time job, I go to school full time, I don't have time to pull my entire engine out to find out the problem...I was just wondering if there was something I was overlooking...and thats why I posted the thread...I didn't know you no-life having a-holes were going to start this friggin arguement...I honestly do enjoy cb7tuner but, its aholes like you 2 that are turning me away to other sites...why can't you just give me some honest help, instead of wasting time telling me that I should do {"research"} I understand that it can't be the key/key cylinder, but I was just throwing stuff out there that I seen in some earlier posts when I searched...can a ***** make a mistake?? lord.

                dont even pay attention to them that is called post whoring u asked for some help now give u other people give him the help he needs or try to guide him in another direction by ideas that might be the problem this is why the made this forum to help one another out cut the crap guys and grow up

                well anyways for your answer did u check the pos and neg on the starter might be loose connections but for the no power sound like check all pos and neg grounds such as for he battery going off the neg on the battery check the power connections to the alternater check all grounds and pos on everything may be main relay try that and then come back make sure they are all clean surfaces and they are tightend down then clean battery terminals.but thats all i can think of

                  Dr. Ciph said loose battery connection. If the car is dead one second, and perfectly fine the next...what else would it be?                         Too bad you've failed at everything thus far. The more you try to NOT look like an idiot, the more you do. Battery connections could have been a possibility. We told you to check everything along the line. You can't fucking do that? Need me to come wipe your ass for you too? Holy fucking shit dude, go buy a damn book if simple-ass shit like this troubles you so much.

                        Ever come to think that maybe part of the reason people tell you to try and figure it out yourself before coming for a spoonfeeding, is because we at least HOPE the average person who wants to work on a car is capable of basic logic and don't want to insult their intelligence? I guess, in this case, there was no risk of any insult.

Go check your flux capactitor if you are not satisfied with that possible solution. You probably do not even know how to check battery connections.
