You can get away with using the belts because they are not that hard to change if they break but the reliablility of the water pump is a different story. I bet it comes with lifetime warranty but honestly who cares if it has a life time warranty if its gonna break in a short time? Our water pumps are not exactly easy to work on so save the trouble and just get the honda water pump.

I agree totally? When it comes to one of the most critical items like a Waterpump, especially in our CB7's - Genuine is the way to go?
GMB Waterpumps are also considered the best as they are generally the OEM Source.

if you're talking duralast timing belt, dont cheap out on such a critical item. go OEM. Its been my expirence that duralast has some poor quality stuff, other items by them are ok im sure, but I personally would not take the chance on a critical component.

I agree with xaxis, they are extremely noisy (drive belts). I haven't found a good aftermarket belt that is quiet like OEM.

Belts would be fine, no way in hell would I put a non OEM water pump in my motor though.
