    Distributor

How hard is it to change the distributor on a cb7? also, how long do you think it will take to change it out?

its because i found a 1991 accord dx for $400 and it needs a new distributor. so, i was gonna take the one off my car and put it on the $400 accord.

Yea its as simple as 3 12mm bolts holding the dizzy to the cyl. head.... only thing you need to make sure of is to line up the bolts to the old marks on the dizzy in order to keep your ignition timing accurate.... otherwise you will retard or advance it which could be deadly or at least non- beneficial unless you know how to and what your doing...

Just make sure to set the timing obviously when you put the new dizzy on. I baught my 1991 accord ex for $400 and all that was wrong with it was a bad coil. Perhaps your problem is simmilar, maybe you dont need a whole new dizzy? just something to think about.

if its an internal buy another whole dizzy if its an external swap the coil and see if that works if it doesnt then you its gotta be the distributor or just both.
