    Hesitation at red light..

What's up guys, my Accord has been giving me some weird problems lately...

Well, i changed the radiator as it was leaking...this ceased by bouncy idle. This has been about 1 month now.

Now, when im at a red light, the idle bounces slighty, and the car sputers... Its strange...

    Any clues?

It idles fine otherwise...only when im at a light with the car in D and on the brake.

Vaccuum leak or dirty IAC valve more than likely.

Okay, im going to check out the IAC valve pronto...what should i be looking for?

dirt? coolant clows through that valve if im not mistaken...

dirt, if it is clogged it wont work, so just clean it, or replace. if you search that valve you will see about a million threads, because that is one of the most common problems with our accords, bouncy idle because of IAC valve.

Also make sure you have enough gas, puttering when gas light is on usually means its time for gas .

Sounds like a slight vac leak.
Am I correct in assuming you bled the system after you replaced the rad?

                Temp gauge read ok?

Yup, of course i bled & replaced the radiator...temp gauge works fine...
That cleared away my bouncing idle...i had stupid amounts of air in my coolant lines...DONE.

So, it could be a leak somewhere on one of the vacuum lines? ...great...
if it was my IAC, then my car's idle would be all over the place...but i will check it out when i get home tonite...

                  The theory is this:
It only bounces and the car jerks while im waiting at a red light, in D. And it happens after about a 20 min drive...and only then on after

Thanks guys, let me know some more input so i can check all of it..

A can of starting fluid (ether) judicially sprayed around some suspect vacuum connections (with engine in "trouble" mode) may reveal many wonderful things.

remove the tube that goes to throttle body, see if plate is gumed up, get a can of carb cleaner and a rag, clean the trottle body real good, also remove the idle adjuster screw . clean it and spray carb cleaner in the hole, , put all together , readjust idle and try it........

also add a can of BG 44K injector cleaner to a full tank of gas,,

you could have excessive carbon built up ..

                          Thanks DesertHonda...will try that too

I am not going to put any fuel injector cleaner into my tank of gas...ive learned many times that those solutions will eat up the spark plug O-rings...:

                          Thanks man...

I will further investigate this...thanks guys!

Spark plugs don't have O rings.
Spark plug well seals in the head and valve cover don't come in contact with gasoline.
