    Feild's VTEC Controller and AFC

Is there a reason why I don't see very many people here using them? I am about to install one and was wondering if there are any downsides to using the Feild's as opposed to the Apex-i. If there is anyone on here using one could you help me get a little familiar to using one as I got mine used and I don't have an instruction manual. I Googled and found a wiring diagram, so I will be installing it this afternoon.

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

actually, Fields was the first company to come out with the vtec controller.. around 98-99. they were very popular then and still is; its just harder to find them nowadays. its main feature, just like the apexi vafc, is to engage vtec at an earlier rpm range as opposed to stock vtec engagement.
