    Oil on Valve Conver Nut

    my engine run slugish around 1000 - 1500RPM.....when i step on gas pedal softly....I Also notice theres oil around the 2 valve cover nut..is that normal??

    TIghten it. When was the last time you replaced your valve cover gasket.

      easy...don't over tighten it. if you tighten them to tight, it brakes the studd off. the valve cover nut specs are 84 in-lbs. if that doesn't work, then the silverish washer under the nut has a rubber gasket on the bottom side of it. the rubber shrinks over time, resulting in leaks. replace them with new ones. later.

        More Detailed Info on the Sluggishness Please.
        Replace the Rubber Seals Under the Washers & Torque Nuts to Specs.
