hey guys, i'm having some problems with the seal inside my f22a1 distrib. I've been talking to acclude and he has a h23 distrib that would have no problems bolting up to the f22 but neither of us know if the distributors timing will be different from the f22's. I want to switch to an external coil is the thing. And since this is the only offer i've had on an external i would like to try it (unless one of you has a distributor with external coil...please contact me if you do). I need to know if anybody has any experience with this distrib on the f22 or comments. Preciate

the problem is finding a 92-93 distrib for under $100. Acclude is including a warranty on the distrib in case it doesn't work so i'm not losing much money here...just shipping chargesKnowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word

Um... Honda List price for a BRAND NEW OE distributor is $141.60. Part number is 06301-PT3-A20, and it doesn't include the Cap, Rotor, or igniter, but the rotor and igniter are the same for both distributors. I can ship it out for that price if anyone needs one.
The P14 distributor (Acclude's) uses the same cap, but a 30303-P08-003 Rotor (same as the PT2, but with a hole for a screw in the side of the shaft), so the timing should be the same on it, but the mounting bracket may be different, thus making it less stable when bolted down. I'm not really sure though as I don't have one here with me. They ALL use the same 30110-PA1-732 O-Ring though, so they all fit in the same hole.Visit us at http://www.valleyspecialists.com for all of your Honda and Acura service needs!

replaced o-ring, and the reason i'm switching to an external coil is because i don't know of any aftermarket internal coils for an f22. I can get msd externals for like $20 all day long but the internal coil i just bought raped me of $70 i won't get back. I'm going FI and i'll need a stronger ignition so why not start now? If the seal breaks on the next dizzy then atleast my coil won't go with it this timeKnowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word
