    check engine sensor

    ok so i just got done with my engine swaping. i put a 92 accord dx engine into my 90 accord ex car. but i made he mistake of letting someone else who helped me to finish the engine swaping. so now when i star the car the Check engine light stays on. but the engine runs fine and strong. i tryied on philly streets that are full of stop sings and i tryied in the highway to see if the engine runs good. so everything with the engine is fine.
    now do i need a new sensor. if yes i where is the damn sensor located at. how much will it cost me. someone told me that it's normal when u swap engines the light stays on. but i am not buying it. so where is the sensor located at. and does the O2 sensor located on top of the muffler have anything to do with it. that light it's driving me creazy. help me fix it and conclude my work .

      this is the plug you should be looking for...its under the glove compartment behind the kick panel. take the kick panel off and itl most likely be taped to some other bunch of wires so just look around for it. once you find it, get a paper clip and bend it into a "U" shape and put one end into one of the holes and the other end into the other hole. once you do this turn the the ignition on without turning over the car and it will start fashing a code count the blinks (long blink=10, short=1) and youll be able to see whats wrong with the car.

          cel is the little light near the speedo/tach that has an engine symbol on it. Its the one that stays lit in your car since something is f'd up.

                CEL = check engine light

                i think youve got it, its that lil light that turns on everytime you turn your car on...its one of the many lights that lit up. like nut bucket said, it has an engine symbol and reads "engine". if that lights up while driving or stays lit when you turn on the car, then you have a code to look for.

                      codes

                      so finally at 10 pm i got the codes from my car.
                      CODE 6. colant temperature>>>>just saw it and the white container on the left side of the radiator is full and i mean full. does that have to do with it???????
                      CODE 14. idle air control valve. when i went to the mechanic he to get my car he was moving something on the top right side of the engine because the RPM on the car were going up and down up and down. everytime he would pull the plug the car would work fine. >>> i have no idea where to begin about this problem
                      CODE 41. oxygen sensor heater. the heater is ok and it works fine. by the way is the oxygen sensor under the car on top of the muffler???????? if not where is located.
