Engine Stumbling

For those of you that had clogged egr ports and fixed them, I was wondering if this sounded like the problems you had. If it doesnt sound like the egr ports, anyone know what it is?

If I am in a gear(manual), say 3rd doing like 25mph... obviously that is too slow for the gear. But if I push down on the gas any more than just a little bit, the car chugs, and sounds like its going to stall. Kinda sounds like its misfiring. It only does that when its down in the low low rpms for each gear though. Are the EGR's my problem? I wanna clean them out if that what it is.

no that chugging is your engine,when your in that high of a gear going to slow your engine starts to "diesel" if you press the gas when your going to slow in the wrong gearthe car will chugg like that,all manuals will i have a manual and it does that.i cleaned my egr ports because the car was hesitating under normal acceleration.and when it got into 2nd and up to speed it would go away.when i cleaned my ports it fixed all that.if your take off is ok your egr ports are fine.just dont be in to high a gear and floor it.

thats what I figured, but i wanted to make sure. I am going to clean the ports anyways...im sure they are full of crap.
