    Weird Coolant problem

Got a weird problem, cant seem to figure it out... if i open the bleed screw (h22) the coolant just gushes out of the rad AND the bleed screw... if i open it with the rad cap closed compley it comes out of the bleed normally, i rev it and it stops comming out the bleed then when i let it go back to idle it starts shooting out like it was pressurized then subsides. if i idle car with rad cap off it jsut slowly pours out the rad... i dont know whats going on because it always APPEARS to be full no matter if i bleed it or watch it loose like a litre of coolant... i cant top it up and cant bleed it out because it always looks 100% full...
This was posted on another forum, and hasnt been resolved yet. weird thing is, the same day that he posted that, my car did the same thing.

If I follow the coolant bleeding procedure, the coolant will start to warm up. If I open the bleeder, it comes out the radiator cap. If I have the cap on, it'll come out the bleeder screw, but doesnt seem to be getting the air out.

Anyone have a problem like this? I have a new thermostat here on my desk, but the person who posted this problem had a new swap, new tstat, radiator, water pump. everything on my setup is new except radiator and tstat.

Neither of us have overheating problems nor loosing coolant/discolored coolant.

any ideas? I've searched quite a few forums with no luck.

I'm not sure exactly but I think as long you bleed you should be fine.

Make sure your resoivor is flled at the line and use it as a guage. Make sure ur rad is filled. Then just bleed, (car on i suppose, and reve a tad) w/ rad cap on.

Something is wrong if it doesn't come out of the bleeding screw, it must me somewhere or something is taking another exit as the 'pressure' is suppose to find its own exit sort of speak?! Is ur thermo new? hose tight? rad cap the correct one?
    hahahahah

The engine isn't supposed to be running during bleeding.

        Cool, That's interesting..

I dunno I just read it somewhere or w/ some cars that u should rev it a bit during the coolant process so it settles and all that and to bleed it. not sure if its the same w/ the 3rd gen or whatever.

I never had an overheating problem or in accurate reading though.. just saying
