auto tranny question

i wanted to know if the f20a and the f22a torque converter are the same .. i did a f22 motor change over using the f20 auto box . but the combi dont seems to be pulling right so im getting a f22a auto box .
will the f20a torque converter be ok to use or should i get the f22a ... honda gurus !!

If you have both converters you can measure them. But they should fit. Have you tried putting the tc in the f22 tranny yet?

1) your terms might be slightly confusing to some (they kind of are to me)....by "auto box" are you talking about the tranny?

2) you might get some help by pm'ing Zigenballz since he has experience with the f20a

3) if you think that using the f20a tranny was the problem, then it may be as simple as either double checking the cam timing (one tooth low on automatics can make a HUGE difference on takeoff) or adjusting your tranny cable (if you can)

tranny problems

ived finally changed out the auto tranny ived now matched the auto tranny with the motor . and now im having a problem with it, it seems as if it wont kick down if you know what i mean .. any advice ??
