I recently found this problem on my car. I am not sure of what the consequenses are. I'd imagine something to the effect of wobbly steering. I would replace them immediately for peace of mind.

Not so much of a safety concern as it is annoying. Sooner or later it will get worse though, then may cause driveability issues. Ball-joints, brakes and tires is what you shouldn't play around with if you have issues with any of them.

interesting. Its always best to get wheel bearings replaced asap. Not really sure bout hondas or cars for that matter, but I know that on tractor/trailers the bearing goes bad(due to inadequate lubrication from a leaking wheel seal or sumthin), it seizes, when it seizes it spalls, worst case scenerio wheel goes . If its the inner bearing , damage to the spindle, wheel seal, and bearing race is likely. I've seen it all. When I was deployed in Iraq we had one truck come back from a mission with this exact problem. These trucks(old azz shits) had grease bearings in the front wheels oil in the rear. The inner(larger) bearing was literally FROZEN to the spindle. The hub would not spin and even after I removed all the bearing nuts it was a b*tch to get off. ended up replacing the seal, race(b*tch) both bearings, and grinded out the spindle. Whenever you go to have your bearings replaced make sure they change out that race too. LOL...they're prolly gonna have to anyway..lol....

Isn't it possible for the wheel to seperate ? Although the front wheel bearings are pressed on to the hub, the bearing itself can basically come off.
