    ABS help, found code

allright, after searching the forum for a bit i was unable to find the list of ABS light codes. i swear they used to be here, but whatever, i found what i needed elsewhere.

anyway, my abs light has been on for quite some time now and since i was diagnosing a CEL, i also checked on that. according to auto-diagnostic-codes.com code 48 means "Circuit for the left rear sensor"

i read in another thread something about someone messing something up when they took out their power antenna, i did this not too long ago as well. just wondering if anyone has any idea how to fix this / if its a wiring problem or something on the actual brake.

    thanks

As long as you didn't mess up any wiring, then removing a power antenna shouldn't have affected your ABS sensor. They do go bad quite often, so I would simply replace it. They're about $125 bucks from Honda and are a lil tricky to put in on the rears.

The same way you manually check the check engine light.

If you're throwing a code, just turn the ignition to ACC/ON with the engine NOT running. Then just take a wire, and put either end in the jump connector and count the bleeps. Long bleeps are the 1st digit, short bleeps are the 2nd digit.

Exact same as checking the check engine light.
