    Fuel Sending Unit Check

Alrite, few months back I got a garage to put a new gas tank on the Accord for me (not an actual new one though, just one from a junk yard). When I got it back the gas gauge wasn't working. I assume the unit on the tank must not be working, was going to put the old one on, but it seems theres no sensible way to get them out of the tank because there so old and rusty and shit. Is there a way I can test to sending unit to see if it's the actual problem?

Also, anyone know good way to remove ones from a rusty tank?

behind your back seat under the carpet, theres a round silver plate held onto the car body by 3 phillips head screws... pull them out and remove the plate and youll see the sending unit's connector. unplug it, then to remove the unit, theres a metal ring around the outside that you need to twist counter clockwise to unlock the unit from the tank. before you start lifting it out though, run a vaccuum over everything, twisting that ring usually frees up a lot of loose dirt, which can easily fall into the tank while pulling the unit out. then just lift it up and out

      This might help.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.
