Got something stuck in the key hole

Had this going for over a year, but I think a piece of tubing got stuck in the trunk key hole when I try to lube it. I can't seem to get my key more than half-way in.

Any tips, or maybe it happened to u before?

its held in by only a 10mm bolt from the back, maybe you can pull it out and take it apart to clean it out.
