please help me not get pulled over

today i get my car back from the paint shop, and everything was great until i turned the headlights on.
    no lowbeam!
i checked the fuses and everything is good. the high beam works on both sides but the low dosent.

what should i do? the shop will say they must not have worked prior to paint. theres no way for me to prove my case.

make sure they didnt accidently cut any wires, you could get a tester and see if the harness is getting juice

Definately do a visual on the bulbs to make sure they aren't blown. Then check the harness right at the connector to see if you have voltage. If no voltage is present, work your way back in the harness.

Also make sure they didn't remove the Globes during repairs and touched the Glass Tube. The Acid in your skin destroys Headlight Globes. It's not uncommon for Both Headlight Globes to blow. Also Check the Battery Electrolyte Level. Low Battery Electrolyte levels can cause Bulbs to Blow.

                i am an idiot.
i didnt check the bulbs first because i thought two bulbs cant blow at once. ive driven with a "padiddle" many times over the years.
it turns out both bulbs were bad. every thing is fine now after there replacement. the only thing that bothers me now is the pass. side is a little bit dimmer than the drivers. i also had this prob in my old DSM to from a bad ground. i wonder if there is a bare wire somewhere along the harness?

Sounds like excessive resistance in the Wiring Loom or Poor Connection at the HL Globe.
