yeah, exactly...i mean i've heard of fried ECUs i guess, but i duno, whats the problem that your experiencing exactly. I know travis had problems with his TCU, and he couldn't shift out of park and etc.

usually you get a solid CEL when you try to pull a code...

its not ALWAYS the case though

you dont get ANY lights? thats definitly not an ECU issue...thats more of a battery type issue

no no... battery is good.. i get hand brake light and oil pressure light , but no check engine or battery light goes on.. i just swapped a whole new harness in because the old one was burnt to shit.. im just wondering where the main ECU connections are and what are the voltages so i can check them all out. its the last problem i have thats keepin me from runnin the car.

              thx

im running out of ideas also..lol

does anyone think a bad eld system would prevent this? i know it would normally trip a code 20, but could it prevent the ecu from working?

                just an idea..

                hope you figure it out

                goo luck tom

im still lost... a bad ecu would still make a solid light wouldnt it...

dunno if this is right but theres 4 wires that power the ecu? and the colors are yellow / white and green / white... i have power to 3 of them .. maybe im cut somewhere down the line... if anyone knows all the power supplies maybe i can hook them directly to a fused power source to see if thats where my problem is... fuk i wanna drive this new cb7 coupppe

the battery light is for the charging system, and the check engine light in instrument cluster is pin a13 in ecu.

                      just a question?
1)- when you say your car wont start..will it crank and not fire, or just not crank or anything? maybe try to crank it if it will to possibly trip an CEL as accord r33 mentioned.

                      good luck tomd

check ur main coil, plugs, wires, fuel filter can sometimes do that too.

does the engine crank slow or fast? maybe fpr

if you jsut swapped teh chassis harness and now it has problems iw ould guess tha tyou got stuff plugged in wrong most likely, or burnt fuses possibly.
