Okay heres the problem... i think ever since the car got smashed i noticed this... maybe becuae the car sat for a year but i dunno.. There was a rip in my powersteering belt so i went and thought that was making the noise... I fixed it and it still makes the noise... so this guy who works on trucks.. he listened to it and tryed to find where it was comming from.... It like changes the noise.... if im driving i dont think it makes the noise its when its idling or if im in park or stopped... its embarricing.. He said it could be the altenator.. because it sat the bearings went and its making it grind.. he said i should get a new one because that one might die out...... do you think its true?
