    any lowered accords have problems with cv boots ripping?

    i guess this is the right forum to post this in, anyway i ripped a cv boot somtime recently and am wondering will it happen more often since my car is lowered? and is there a diy on changing axels anywhere?

    yeah i know its not just related to lowering, they need to make them out of kevlar or somthing i just replace this one last year

      our cv joints suck ass. i need to replace my drivers side asap. ive acutally had one break before. scary shit.

        Yup, there is like 10 steps for it in the factory service manual.

          Yep, boots eventually dry out and crack on all FWD cars....lowered or not. Re-booting an axle is simple though.
