** Differences in manual shifter cables **

recently, i installed a set of prelude shifter cables. when i compared it to the cb7 cables, they looked the same; but it seems there are two different kinds of manual shifter cables availabe. the previous cable in my cb7, along w/ the prelude cables just installed seems like they cannot be adjusted in any way. here are some examples:

*pic from BustedLx / DIY short-shifter*

    *pic from f22acordturbo / DIY short-shifter*

if you notice on the second pic ^^^, the shifter cables can be adusted, similar to how the clutch pedal can be adjusted by loosening the nut and by rotating the cable accordingly.

just wanted to know if there is any way the cables(1st pic) can be adjusted ??

you know i was looking at that, i had prelude shift cables and they look like the first pic, they arent adjustable from what ive found, i was looking at that new DIY short shifter picture and was confused about why it had the adjustable ends...

im sitting next to doctorcipher who is using 4th gen cables in his 5th gen, and he says he doesnt remember the adjustable ends at all either, and that they look like busted's pic...

    so idk

my only guess would be the 90-91 cb7 shifter cables are different from the 92-93 cables

I'm using accord shifter cables on my prelude shift plate and they aren't adjustable. At least from what I have tried. The cables are clamped onto the shifter since the hole for the prelude's shift cable is too small. It's hard to get into third sometimes because of the looseness of the cables, it'd be great if I could adjust it. Might swap some prelude cables in later on.
