no starting

turn the key no click no turning over or anything. Dad taps on something near where the battery is and the car sounds like something grinding then starts. i turn it off and it starts again. I let car sit a week and same thing only when i tapped on the thing the car turned over bearly but didnt start.

Any idea what may be going on i'll include pics soon

i cant find my haynes manual is it a pain to change

I'm gonna say a 6.7 on a scale of 1-10 because its hard to get to.. You might wana check your solenoid connection first though.

it's a pretty straightfoward thing. the only thing that makes it hard is that it isn't the easiest place to get your hands into.
