w/ new header louder? new cat not loud?

May be getting a new header/downpipe for 60$ brand new. Now If I put this on will this make my world sport louder? How loud? Also What would be the best cat to put on to deaden noise.

I have the world sport 2 with stock cat, and header now

what kind of header you getting?

if it's any larger in diameter than the one you've got now, chances are it'll make it a bit louder.

for a cat... you'll wanna get a real one.... not one of those flow-thorough ones on ebay...

to put it into perspective, when I had my magnaflow exhaust it was fine, only loud when i wanted it to be and i could control the noise by how i drove. when i added my megan header and magnaflow cat it got much louder, i really gotta watch how i drive if theres a cop around. stick with the stock cat i think you shuold be fine with that and your apexi.

Stock cat would be the best way to go for quietest sound. You are not going to get much if any performance out of a flow through, yet it'll have all of the raspyness that we all love. If you have a header already, why switch?

the flanges are all screwed up and my cat is all rusting away and leaks..


And a headbolt hole is stripped so it leaks up there too :-/

Your WS sport is still going to sound the same...

From the front of the car, you will hear your intake and header...
From the rear, you're still going to hear the WS...the tone will change, but not drastically...probably only you can notice lol!

Get a new Catco cat-converter. The stock OEM Honda costs mad $$.

Really, i dont think your car would sound any more louder than how it is now...
Unless you're getting an Endyn sponsored header lol!
