Broken knock sensor ?

K so just came back from up north (yes im a Wisconsin hick yeeha!) and my guy that was workin on my h22a says that my knock sensor is broken, everything else is good cept that exhaust problem I have but we are workin on it, He had to run and all he said it was broke so I guess its broke here is a pic http://s61.photobucket.com/albums/h7...t=IMG_0544.jpg looks like some sauder or something is missing, I dont know anything about them at all so I trusted him he knows his sh!t, what I do know about knock sensors is that I need one (p13 ecu) and that there expensive. He tried calling around and nobody has h22's anywhere/parts for them around here (Wisconsin is JDM deprived we rice rather than preform). I read somewhere that I can use any knock sensor from a vtec honda? and also do you think hmotors will cover it/send a new one? Its the weekend and im gonna call tommorow but I know a lot of people have worked with Steve, maybe they had the same problem.

Chipped P28/P72 would be your next bet if you cant find a p13. You can try comparing part #'s if they are the same then yes you can use the other car.

oops kinda looks like it says i need a p13ecu but i mean that u need a knock sensor if you use the p13 XD

Well if you want to ignore the KS completely get a chipped p28.

you can try ebay and i think the b series shares the same knock sensor.

We got it, my guy found one and the clutch came in today , getting dropped tommorrow he loomed all the wires and everything looks pro. We decided to tap the tranny and return the prelude mounts save some $$$ and he also found some cheap tubular style aftermarket headers for $65 till I work out the RS*R ones, unless someone is willing to buy them :o. I will have pics of the engine in the car up tommorrow, well thats if I stop driving it
