just a simple question before i do my h22a swap for future reference.....when i have to go get my emissions done do i have to tell the place that i have a engine swap done? because the places here run your VIN number and get the informationon about what engine is supposed to be in there stock and take their readings from that. are the H22 and F22 the same emessions wise. thanks. im in georgia by the way.

If you don't plan on registering your car thru B.A.R. HELL NO dont' tell them!! They will run the vin # but the times I went...the shop overlooked the engine.... try taking it to a ghetto smog shop that u don't think will know about swapped hondas.. Well a accord is not a typical civic where a swap is more common anyways so u might get lucky. I'm about to smog my car this wed. so i'll let u know what happens.....

Yep just a place that will inspect it and is kind aghetto. Thats what i do. If you really wanna pass you can run a USDM P13 since the JDM P13 tune is slightly rich.
