Just bought a 5 speed LX coupe. 1990. Looking under the trans, I'm curious what the part is in the video below. Is it supposed to move like that? Also, is there no dipstick on the 5 speed trannies? Thanks

The part In the video is where the shifter cables attach on to the tranny and no there is no dipstick, to "check" the oil level remove the fill plug and it should pour out slightly but honestly if you just got it; it may be a good idea to drain the tranny and refill it with fresh oil.
