    King Bearings Top & Bottoms

    Hey guys,

Hope this isn't a dumb question.

Are the replacement King Bearings specific to which one goes on the connecting rod cap vs. the actual rod itself? As well as the main bearings, does it matter which goes on the block & the ones that go on the girdle? Or are they normally marked? At a quick glance, I didn't see any markings or writing on the rod bearings.

They are just the standard size replacements.

Just got the bearings in the mail, I have not opened the plastic yet to clearly look but just curious before I taken them out.

    Thanks

There is a notch or tab on top of the bearing that fits into a groove. I am 90% positive the bearing can only go in one way. They will "click" in place.
